Students began the class by finding co-ordinates on a world map:

1.     (30°N, 15°E) – 5 letters

2.     (40°N, 30°E) – 6 letters

3.     (40°S, 170°E) – 10 letters (in total)

4.     (60°N, 120°W) – 6 letters

5.     (23°S, 60°W) – 8 letters

6.     (60°N, 15°E) – 6 letters

7.     (23°N, 10°W) – 10 letters

Students worked on their inquiry projects, many of which are now complete and hanging on the wall.

Finally, students watched the first five minutes of the following IMAX presentation.
