We began the class with a journal entry today.
We then completed the novel Iqbal. We had group discussion about slavery and racism.
Students watched the end of a short video, looking at another possible perspective regarding Iqbal's experience as a child slave.
Finally, as many members of the class were away at a basketball game, students did a short free-write, which will be shared aloud at another time.
