Today students began the class by looking at the following link:

Students were asked to consider if Canada is doing enough to combat child slavery. They were asked to do some research on the site.
After some class discussion, students spent some time completing an in class write. They had three choices from which to choose:
1) edit and expand a journal entry
2) write a letter to the government about child slavery
2) free write
At the end of the day, students cleaned up their workspace and were dismissed .
