Today students began with a journal write. We then practiced our use of they're, there, and their. Next, students reviewed story elements and plot diagrams. Finally, we read a short story, "The Fun They Had," and students created a plot diagram.
There will be a quiz next class on the use of they're, there, and their, as well as sentence fragments.
