Today students began with some paragraph practice.
We discussed five ways to organize a paragraph:
chronological
emphatic
cause and effect
spatial
compare and contrast
Students then created their own paragraph using one of these organizational strategies.
When students competed this task, they had a chance to finish their poetry projects.
