Today students began by taking notes on understanding sound and effects in poetry.
Students read Lord Byron's On This Day I Complete My Thirty-Sixth Year and we found samples of poetic sound effects, as well as other poetic devices.
Finally, students either finished their McCarthy/Crucible essays or found a song to analyze next class. Students must have a song for tomorrow's class.
