the cpr was obiviousley the most important because it united a nation. If the cpr wasnt created then the U.S. may have decided to attack canada but they didnt so winners at life haha.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, Canada's greatest accomplishment has been creating a nation from sea to sea. I feel this because if we weren't connected as a whole, we couldn't trade with one another; without connection we wouldn't have enough resources. As well at creating a nation from sea to sea, I think avoiding annexation of the United States has also been one of the greatest accomplishments.
ReplyDeleteI believe that, even though it isn't on the list above, the creation of a nation from sea to sea is Canada's greatest accomplishment. This is because the large amount of land that we have acquired gives us a lot of industries and diverse jobs for our economies income, such as logging, oil, fishing, producing food, and manufacturing in the East. As well as this, it was difficult to negotiate with the many people of North America, and create the well run nation that we are today.

ReplyDeleteI think creating a nation from sea to sea was a great accomplishment because it is not an easy feat to make a solid country with all the accessories ... like a functioning economy, military, nationalism and CPR. Which are all achievements within the bigger picture of a whole country.
ReplyDeleteCreating a Nation From sea to sea was the greatest accomplishment for Canada because is was the instigator of the creation of the CPR and every other great thing that Canada has had to offer! We as a nation would never of done or accomplished the thing we have if we weren't a nation to begin with. Plain and simple we would never of been Canada!
ReplyDeleteI think that our greatest achievement to date is maintaining a sense of nationalism throughout our vast country. Despite that we come from a variety of terrains and cultures, we are still able to unite under one flag as Canadian citizens.

ReplyDeleteWithout our style or focus the military possess in Canada other countries would feel they could disrespect and disrespect the Canadians. Organization is a key role in our winning in the wars or wars we have helped in. It deserves a honorary tittle for the reason it made other countries respect us, fear us.Its helped our young country survive and grow.

ReplyDeleteI feel that Canada's greatest acomplishment is the creation of a country from sea to sea. I feel that is true because it takes alot to make a country and it is a tough job. On the other hand Canada's greatest embarassment is the treatment of out native people because we came into their country and took their land and killed their people....
