Thursday, January 15: English 8/9 (2)

Today students were refreshed on how to create a character sketch by creating one on Spongebob Squarepants.  Students were then directed on how to complete the draft paragraph on their character's information (they should consult their rubric for this section).

Next, students were given time to work on their drafts, as they were due at the end of class.  Students then were given the opportunity to discuss their books with their peers.  After the discussion, we went  back to reading quietly in class.  Finally, students watched a short presentation from one of their peers.
