Students began class by reading a passage that we would later used to individually assess students for reading accuracy. Students had the opportunity to check in and question any unfamiliar words.
Students were then asked to complete a final draft of their perspective paragraphs. While students were typing these, I called individual students to read, checking for accuracy.
Finally, students completed a journal entry.

Students have The Outsiders final test on Thursday.
