Today students completed their spelling tests. I then handed out the new words. Students will be tested on these words January 10th, when we return back from break.
We then read our script of Gluscabi and the Wind Eagle. Students were split into groups and asked to turn a short aboriginal legend into a script. Students then began cutting out cardboard characters to use as shadow puppets for when we return from the break.
HOMEWORK: Spelling word booklet and reading journals. Due Monday, January 6th 2014.
