Today students began with a short journal entry.
We then discussed the makings of a good sentence. Students must remember that we do not usually begin sentences with "because" until we have mastered writing.
We then read all of chapter 5 and most of chapter 6 from Touching Spirit Bear. Chapter 6 must be read next class. Students will have a short quiz on chapter 6 next class.
