We then read through pages 66-68 in the textbook. Students were split into small groups to generate definitions of the following terms:
- farming technology
- fertile crescent
- domesticate
- plain
- silt
- delta
These were written on sticky notes and posted on the door to Mesopotamia.
Students then discussed different means to represent their learning for their next inquiry project on Mesopotamia. Students may show their work by choosing the following media:
- poster
- essay
- slide show
- booklet
- scrapbook
- newspaper
- play
- artwork
- song
- video
