Students were then asked to make comparisons using the following to tables on youth gang violence from the following website:

Students then wrote two comparative sentences using the data.
Students then read A Tribute to Innocence Lost, the true story of Rachel Davis and Richard Hui, which can be found on the following website:
http://vancouver.ca/police/media/2010/report-gang_report.pdf
Finally, after much group and class discussion, students answered the following questions, to be handed in for assessment.
