Language Arts 7

Today students continued writing their moral stories.  Once these were finished, we moved onto the next task.

Students were introduced to Aesop's Fables, one of which they were already very familiar with, but just didn't realize how old the fable is.  We read The Tortoise and the Hare aloud.

Next, in pairs, students were given three short fables to read and conclude upon the moral.  Students were mixed in their abilities to figure out the morals.

Finally, students were asked to share their moral stories aloud.
