Language Arts 7

Today students began by choosing between their expository paragraphs and their descriptive paragraphs to edit for a final mark.  Students read over their work and then made changes.

Students were asked to print off a draft copy to be peer edited.  Students then, using the writing rubric below, assessed a peer's work.  Students could make suggestions if they wished and could check in for advice from their peer.

These will be adjusted further in preparation for publishing as a final draft.

Students then had time to read their chosen novels.

After lunch, students worked through their method books for band and we played Conquest and bars 11 and 12 of To A Skylark.
