September 24, 2014: Language Arts 7

Students created two mind maps, one outlining features of personal identity and the other on types of social groupings:

In journals, students then answered the question: How are you influenced by social groups?


Students were then shown pictures of Victoria's Chinatown, both past and present.

Together, we read through the author's notes of the new novel we will be starting called White Jade Tiger.

For homework, students were asked to read chapters 1&2 of White Jade Tiger.
