Today students began class by cleaning out their binders in an attempt to de-clutter.  We have been discussing what it takes to make sure that each student is in charge of his/her own learning.  Feeling organized is a major component of this.

Students then worked on their story plot diagrams for Iqbal:

Last class, students generated ideas on a sticky note to help them in their task of creating a story plot diagram for Iqbal.

We again discussed setting and characters in Iqbal, which make up the introduction of a story.

Students then completed a worksheet, recalling basic facts from the story.

This is due for homework, if not complete in class.
