Today students read a passage from the book Stolen From Our Embrace. The passage gave a first person account of her time in residential school.
Students then generated a list of questions to investigate in their inquiry projects.
Students had some time to investigate the sites listed on my last blog entry. We then came back together for more question asking (see above).
Finally, I went over the inquiry template that students are expected to follow when completing their inquiry projects:
