Language Arts 7

Today students completed a reading assessment.  Students were asked to read the story The Witch, by Shirley Jackson, and then had to choose four comprehension questions to answer in full sentences.  Below is a sample of a strong answer to the first question:

Students then completed another quick write using the following words:

map, fart-faced kid, karate, jungle, laugh, throw

They generated some very funny stories!
