Reading 8/9

September 20 2013

Today Mr Bishop will be teaching you!

You will need an iPad for this assignment.

Once provided with an iPad, please look up Karl Marx.  The following are some sites that might help you to better understand who and what he is famous for:

Please feel free to do any further investigation.   I would ask that you keep in mind the following questions:

Where was Marx born?
Where did he live?
When did he live?
Who and when did he marry?
What did he believe in?
How did he change the way people viewed their society?
How is socialism different from capitalism?
What is a democracy?

You will be working in groups to present this information to the class at a later time.
Feel free to begin creating a slide show on the iPads.

Please work on this research for 40 minutes.  Make sure that all information is saved in the drop box.

Please read over the connections sheet provided.  This should take about 5-10 minutes.  When finished this, begin reading the rest of chapter two.

I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!!
