Today students began with their Confederation Debate. Unfortunately, despite some enthusiasm, the debate was pretty limp. Thank goodness George Brown was up to the challenge!
In the end, the Fathers of Confederation chose proposals 1, 5, 6, and 8.
Students then began an exercise reinforcing their understanding of the order of the conferences and the amount of time it genuinely took our early Canadians to come to an agreement.
